How to add an AI shopping assistant to a Shopify store
On Shopify the AI works as a shopping assistant: it greets visitors, answers questions about your products, prices and availability, and sends you leads. You paste one line of code into your theme and upload your products to Callopero.

Get your widget code
In the Callopero dashboard open Widget, choose your AI employee and enter your store domain, for example example.com, and your Shopify address such as yourstore.myshopify.com. Click Create widget and copy the one-line code under JavaScript Embed.

Open the theme code
In Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes. Next to your current theme click the … button and choose Edit code.

Paste the code before </body>
In the Layout folder open theme.liquid, find the closing </body> tag near the end of the file, paste the code right above it and click Save.

Teach it your products
In Shopify go to Products → Export and export your products as a CSV file. Upload it in Callopero → Product Catalog and match the columns (name, price, stock, link). The AI then finds products for your customers and never invents prices.

Check your site
Open your live website in a new window: the AI button appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it and talk to your AI receptionist. If the button is missing, check that the address in your browser matches a domain in the widget settings.
Questions
Will a theme update remove the AI from my Shopify store?
The code stays in the theme you edited. If you switch to another theme or install a new copy of it, paste the line into its theme.liquid again.
Can the AI answer questions about my products and stock?
Yes. Upload your product list to the Product Catalog: the AI searches it during every conversation and answers with real names, prices and availability.
Will the AI slow down my store?
No. The script loads asynchronously and does not block your pages or checkout.
