How to add an AI receptionist to a Wix website
Wix allows custom code on sites with a premium plan and a connected domain. You add the Callopero code once in the site settings and choose on which pages the AI receptionist appears.

Get your widget code
In the Callopero dashboard open Widget, choose your AI employee and enter the domain connected to your Wix site, for example example.com. Click Create widget and copy the one-line code under JavaScript Embed.

Open Custom Code
In your Wix dashboard go to Settings, scroll down to Advanced and open Custom Code.

Add the code
Click + Add Custom Code, paste the line and name it, for example "Callopero AI receptionist". Choose All pages and Load code once, set Place code in to Body - end and click Apply.

Publish your site
Custom code runs only on the published site, not in the editor preview. Publish the site if you have unpublished changes.

Check your site
Open your live website in a new window: the AI button appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it and talk to your AI receptionist. If the button is missing, check that the address in your browser matches a domain in the widget settings.

Does it work on the free Wix plan?
No. Wix allows custom code only on sites with a premium plan and a connected domain.
Can I show the AI on some Wix pages only?
Yes. In the Custom Code settings choose Choose specific pages instead of All pages and select the pages.
Does it work on the mobile version of my Wix site?
Yes. The widget works in mobile browsers. Browsers keep the sound off until the visitor taps the page, so the avatar shows subtitles until then; the text chat needs no microphone.
